Believe it or not clothing can make or break a photograph. It can cause distractions from what's most important - your loved ones' faces. It can also date a photograph very quickly, and if not selected properly cause the subject to look larger than they are or even sickly. I can help advise what looks great, what colors work well together and what will help make the final portrait a timeless heirloom that will span generations.

The truth is you don't need to print your pictures, but these portraits are going to be a part of your families visual history. Wouldn't it be nice for future generations to know what you and your loved ones looked like? Printed photographs become family treasures. These can be enjoyed by all those who view them, without the need for technology, electricity, or scrolling through thousands of snapshots only to realize they were accidentally deleted during a phone upgrade or hard drive crash. It might not be for everyone, but those that truly care about realize the importance of the finished printed portrait.  Did you also know you still have not met all the people that will love you one day, and shouldn't those people be able to enjoy pictures of who you are today?

I would ask why are you not working with that photographer again? My job is to not add to your to-do list. My job is to help you achieve your goal with professional produced photography, that includes seeing the process all the way through. Consulting on clothing and locations, to helping you decide which photograph is best for finishing, and then ultimately working with the lab and framer to provide a tangible family heirloom. I'm happy to provide social media files of any portraits or packages purchased. So you can share with your friends, and that's what I find most clients are looking to use regarding digital files -sharing on social media.

This is an open ended question, because it all depends on what the end goal you are looking for. Maybe it's a personal branding session or large family portrait. There could be a significant difference in costs between sessions. What I can tell you is over my 19 year career clients typically invest between $2500 and $5500 on family portraits - which include several framed wall portraits and packages of small gift prints.

We take all forms of payment - credit cards, personal check, and zelle. We also can set up a payment plan to make it easier for you - Pete can work with you on the details that can work for both of you, but typically nothing will be sent to print until 50% is paid and finished work can be picked up or delivered upon final payment.

Pete can set up a custom proofing gallery of your favorite pictures and provide an e-commerce link for them to make purchases. He can then have finished small prints directly shipped to them.
