Children’s Character Portraits are by far my favorite portraits to create. I was commissioned by these boys mother a few weeks ago to create something special to document their families love of the game of baseball (and the baseball version of these character portraits are what I love to do most).

We are just a few weeks away from our annual “Celebration of Smiles” event benefiting Operation Smile! This is the 5th year that I’ve had the good fortune of partnering with the doctors and staff at Pitts Orthodontics as we photograph smiles to save smiles because we are both in the smile business!

It’s been quite sometime since I’ve taken time to write on my blog and quite a lot has happened since last post in November 2015! First I hope this finds everyone well and that life is good for them. I know it’s pretty darn great for me.
This months issue of “Professional Photographer” magazine marks a major milestone for me professionally. They published a 5 page article on me and the unexpected education I’ve found through my involvement with Professional Photographers of America certification process and their “See the Difference” campaign.
I’m in the business of documenting families visual history. Through family portraits, portraits of their children, school portraits, etc. Sometimes I get so busy with it all that I forget that my kiddos need formal portraits to document their visual history too.
